Moments of Light

The moments when we find light
are those that improve our sight
and illuminate certain mysteries.
Most riddles are born within histories,
and soon get lost in the sins
that hide what our spirit wins.
To answer these is to be fooled,
for no sooner has the debate cooled
than we learn some deeper root.
We might see better to suit
some inner drive for solutions
to insulate us from daily pollutions
when spirit is lost in the mind.
Light is that which helps us to find
the original awareness we have had
before our perceptions turned bad
with the assumptions of training.
For easy answers we all are straining,
but they can still come upon us.
We can allow inspiration without fuss
if mysteries are accepted as normal.
Our thinking need not always be formal,
it can wait for the knowledge coming
when with spirit we are humming
the tune of patience for right
ways of accepting feelings of life...
if we experience moments of light.
