Leave My Daughters?

I wonder about obligation
yet there's been no ovation
whatever level of support.
This trip I may still abort.

Despite loving my girls
my head often whirls
from their mother's confusion.
With her I wish no collusion.

With complaints are threats
because she has many debts
and I'm the nearest scapegoat.
Yet no guilt for that I tote.
I pay my bills and mean my word.

Other matters with me unconferred
are not at all my owings' venue.
But her frustration can accrue
an acidly parsimonious bite.
I am wondering about flight.

What's right? This war goes on.
