Gender Irrelevant

This unasked war between sexes
derives from many medieval hex's
power influencing mind and being.

Through ancient eyes we're seeing
grimacing whispers, too many nods,
which betoken why we set at odds...
our differences so motivated
we act as if to them we're fated.
One's modern mind should recall
the harmony before Eden's Fall
from grace, hence such division
community receives grand derision.

Even one to one our culture looms
such that understanding it dooms
when perspective has force of gender.
And no one's right to be defender!

Perhaps it's too easily forgotten
so much ego is surely misbegotten...
including sex when it should not.

Considering this war has taught
many differences are strength...
if definitions can go the length
of all allowing points of view,
it gives both perspectives the due,
and fair, hearing all deserves.

Each's right justice it preserves.
Thence whether logic or intuition,
whether either comes to fruition,
each mode of being's satisfied.

If to accomodate no one's lied,
modern virtue overcomes history.
Only then is there less mystery,
and only then is there less war...
if communicating opens the door
that neither should hide behind.
