Finding New People

Yes, a party's going on now
and I really can't tell you how
most of these people I do know.
No wild oats literally to sow...
just connecting with the town.

Adjectives are easier than a noun
for placing some ultimate reason
why I network here "in season".
Brutal but clever, sarcastic,
those who abhor what's plastic
and seek only realy, "street",
to find connections and fun.

And next day when it's done
I have new people I may call.
Finding them is, yes, a "ball"!
