There is a castle in my dreams, and some real schemes,
that has a room in it for everyone I do or may know.
And the variety of designs each character could show,
reflecting tastes and priorities from floors to beams.
My fascination is finding aesthetic in shared dreams.
Could all my friends play, and each have their say,
living together at times under welcome in my castle?
I imagine there are ways to handle whatever hassle,
based on collective roles and abilities and the pay,
such that we all might grow weeks in a single day.
Wouldn't the cauldron of energies be intense?
Wouldn't it teach each of us to abandon pretense?
Wouldn't the fun of being included in activities
compensate for the rare interference of festivities?
Wouldn't varied daily options make a lot of sense?
My castle is not mine, except that in penned line
I own my intention to realize a dream so fine.
There will be a roundtable and a simple code
by which to maintain our healthy, happy abode,
but I dream independence, roles, activities combine.
Wouldn't you cherish a shared space otherwheres?
Talk this dream with the team and see how it fares.
