Afraid to Disturb a Dream

If you detect hesitation
it's not a subtle frustration
but rather a very real awe.

We each have a deep flaw
in fundamental separation
each from another's sensation.

But we've become so close
I do fear emotional overdose.
One in a million you so seem
I'm afraid to disturb a dream
that such linkage's possible.

My mind says it's not plausible.

But heart does strongly beat
whenever our psyche's meet...
so I am inextricably involved.
