Things you've yet to say
are assumptions held at bay
to maintain our elicitation
of fond striving felicitation
but I am already aware
there's a limit to what we dare.

Yes, I know that you care...
but our lives're very different.
By our actions are meant
the best we currently achieve
because there're few who receive
sincerity striving for meaning.

But husband I'll clearly not be
